A Word From The Pastor For June

Summer Is Here Beulah:

It is late May and it is already about 95 now, it’s too early to be in the 90’s every day. Our cool spring just flew past us like a rocket. We have gone straight into the heat of another summer. It seems as if we just finished the last one up yesterday.

Well graduation is over, school is out and the kids are already driving some of you crazy. Summer is such an exciting time for everyone. The kids are free and we plan outings and vacations. The summer seems to be the time all of us plan some down time to recharge, we go to the beach or the lake or the mountains. We see it as a time to relax and enjoy the outdoors and life and family. This summer let’s remember as we venture out of doors to look at truly how magnificent our world is. Who created all this? Who had the power and intelligence to plan all this? Who could put it together to run so smoothly? We all know that answer. Our God has done all this for us to enjoy and dwell in. No explosion created our world; there was no mistake or evolving of these wonderful living creatures. God planned it and created it

So this summer look around and watch the birds, animals or fish as they live around us. Imagine what it was like to see them for the first time and have the privilege of naming all of them. That is a task I don’t want. God put us here as well to live, share, love and explore His world. Explore our world this summer. Explore the lives around you and allow God to place you into what He wants for you. Explore God this summer and find out how truly amazing God can be. Don’t take a vacation from God but instead allow Him to renew and rejuvenate you this summer. Allow God to vacation in you this summer. God will give you a vacation in His way if you allow Him too.
