A Word From The Pastor For October

Beulah Family,

Fall is upon us and the beauty of the season changing is so wonderful. The weather is finally cooling off and some rain has come. It is time for the holidays to be here. Hard to believe it is time for Christmas planning to begin but it is. We have finished another year of serving in our community through the Worship Tour. They served in around 10 churches this summer plus ours. They each have come out of this with a refreshing of God in their life and have brought a renewing to the lives of many people. I want to thank each of them for their dedication and commitment this year. Their efforts will be greatly rewarded and blessed by God. Plans are already underway for next year so if you are interested please begin praying for God to lead you.

We are getting ready for many activities coming up with the fall and holidays. Keep a check on the weekly bulletin for items involving you or your family. We are in the midst of getting our Fall Festival together. It will be held on Saturday November 13th. We will have chicken tender plates available for sale along with crafts, deserts, and games for the kids. Make your plans to help with the work and ticket sales. The tickets should be ready to pick up in next 2 weeks.

We want to congratulate our new deacons, Wes Baughcome; Ken Cannon; and Stephen Scott. We had a beautiful service for ordination to these 3 guys. Keep them in your prayers and many of you will be getting a letter from your new deacon in the next few weeks. They are great leaders in our church and we are blessed to have them as part of our ministry.
