A Word From The Pastor For September

Happy New Church Year Beulah Family,

What a fantastic month we have had during August. We finished up our VBS and began August with Homecoming and Revival. We started our Homecoming off with one of the greatest events for a church, a baptism service. We then went into a week of revival that was so moving. We had huge numbers each service and Pastor Culbertson brought stirring messages each night. It was truly what I needed and many others made decisions that week as well.

We are beginning our new church year and I want to thank each of the Nominating Committee members for their work. I especially want to thank each of you who accepted your challenge to serve this year. You have committed to your task and I will be in prayer for you to have all the power from God and energy and patience needed from God to fulfill that service. Thank each of you for giving to God’s work.

Now as we go into our new church year we are continuing our theme of outreach into the entire month. We are having a FAMILY FEUD for four (4) weeks during September. We have two teams made up of four Sunday school classes each and we are going to do our best to contact as many people as possible to bring them to church. Each team will visit, call, and reach out to others this month. Each person can gain points for different things such as contacts, attending church, bringing visitors, and the greatest prize of all is when someone is led to accept Jesus as their savior. We will all celebrate together for the birth of new Christians. We are planning a few hours of visitation on Saturday, September 17th at 10:00 AM. We will visit prospects and community members to invite them to worship and Sunday school. Join us as we canvas our community for Christ. We will conclude our FAMILY FEUD with a celebration Sunday, September 25th with a big dinner. Join with us as we have a fun month of reaching others for Christ. Take this challenge and join a team and work for God this month.
