A Word From The Pastor For February

Beulah Family,

We started this year off with a running start. Politics has been the focus for our state and I encourage each of you to be in sincere prayer for our leaders and our upcoming election. We desperately need someone to lead us who is led by God and not by the people.

This month has been a tough month for several of our families. There have been several deaths, so please keep each other in your prayers. Part of our strength is lifting up our family and ministry to the needs of others. I want to thank each of you who helped during the past couple of weeks with visits, prayers and food for the families who lost loved ones. It seems as if many churches have lost that gift of service during bereavement. Thanks to you all.

We have got our Worship Tour group started for this year and it is a larger group than last year. Please support and pray for them also. It takes a great deal of commitment and dedication to fulfill this ministry. They put in long hours each week over and above what they would normally do. Thanks guys.

As we started off this year we approved our budget for this coming year. I want to remind all of you that we each have a part in providing for the needs of our church. It takes each person doing what God leads them to do. We all understand the concept of tithing and I ask you to consider trusting in God in Faith to be faithful in your tithe this year. We can enlarge our ministry as we enlarge our faith in God’s provision. I hope each of you has a grand month and I expect that groundhog might come out early since we haven’t had much of a winter yet.
